INDIA: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directly blames the saffron party over violence across several districts in Bihar during Ram Navami. As per the recent update, Nalanda and Rohtas districts of Bihar witnessed a major clash being hit by communal violence on Ram Navami.

A bomb exploded in a hut near a mosque in Sasaram, resulting in the death of a teenage boy and leaving many others injured. Thus, Kumar slammed the BJP party and called it was not a “failure of his administration.”

The Bihar Janata Dal-United leader, in his statement, said, “There is now serenity throughout the state. We are monitoring the situation at both locations. (Nalanda and Rohtas). It was not an administration failure. As part of the conspiracy, some have purposefully generated instability.”

Apart from this, the Bihar CM also lashed at AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi for laying his indirect support to the saffron party. He further called the Hyderabad AIMIM MP an “agent of the BJP”.

Nitish Kumar, during a media interaction, raised fingers upon the Union Home Minister Amit Shah for cancelling his tour of Sasaram in view of riots, further quoting, “I don’t know why he was coming, and I don’t understand why he decided not to come.”

The Former Bihar deputy CM and BJP MP Sushil Kumar Modi replied to Nitish by saying, “Why did you not expose the BJP conspiracy if it was true? Thousands of people who took part in Ram Navami processions across the state are not BJP members but rather members of the Hindu community.”
