INDIA: Gadar 2 gears up for release! The highly anticipated film Gadar is coming up with a new sequel, and fans are eagerly waiting to cheer in theatres. Earlier, the anticipation levelled up with the teaser, 4K re-release of the first part and the release of the classic song.

Now, Anil Sharma has unveiled a new poster for Gadar 2, showcasing Sunny in a more fierce and dynamic way.

The post caption reads, “Jab baat parivaar aur desh par aaye, toh Tara Singh ke saamne koi bhi dushman na tik paaye! #Gadar2 aa rahi hai bade parde par aag lagane iss Independence Day! Cinemas mein 11th August se.”

The poster feels reminiscent of Sunny lifting a hand pump in the climactic scene of Gadar. Though that scene is iconic and continues to grab the same level of attention and cheers, the new cartwheel lifting scene gives us a hint of Anil Sharma’s ability to deliver something similar and elevating as the original.

Talking about the new poster, Sunny is seen donning black ethnic wear, wrapped in a turban and holding a giant wheel instead of a hand pump.

The hit onscreen pair Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are ready to set the box office on fire as their recent iconic song, “Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava”, created a buzz amongst the audience. The song is choreographed by Shabina Khan.

Music legends Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik performed the song’s original version; Mithoon has recreated and modified it. Uttam Singh initially composed the song, and Anand Bakshi penned the lyrics.

The teaser for Gadar 2 suggests that the plot picks up immediately where Gadar: Ek Prem Katha left off. Fans could also hear a sombre rendition of the song “Ghar Aaja Pardesi,” which left the audience speculating that Sakeena may die in this part.

However, Ameesha Patel cleared all the speculations regarding her character in the film.
