‘New Naruto’ Series Bags Promo Video, Elevates the Hype for Anime Debut

The official anime website announced the new Naruto mini-anime series set to debut on September 2023

JAPAN: Ever since the Naruto 20th anniversary poster and remastered clip release, fans were hyped for what Studio Perriot has packed in for fans. But when the big reveal was announced, all hopes were squadron. In March 2023, the makers dropped a surprise bomb on Otakus that it would develop 4 new episodes for the original anime series. 

Following the big news, no new update has been shared by Studio Perriot. Now, the makers have unveiled exciting info about the upcoming episodes.

The official anime website announced the new Naruto mini-anime series set to debut on September 3, 2023. The anime also bagged a brand-new promotional teaser. Thanks to Twitter users who shared the clip, which provided a brief glimpse of the upcoming mini-series. 

The first episode of the new Naruto series will air at the following time: 

  • Japan: 5:30 PM Japanese Standard Time (JST)
  • United States: 4:30 AM East Standard Time (EST)
  • United Kingdom: 9:30 AM Western European Time (WET)

Besides the promo clip, Studio Perriot has yet to unveil what the series will be based on. Many fans speculate that the anime will air remastered episodes of the original series. But this doesn’t appear to be the case, as the official website of Naruto showcases that entirely new episodes will be aired.

Given the promo video, it appears that the new mini-series will be focused on the OG Team 7, which consists of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. As of now, no concrete detail on the plot is available. The mystery regarding the show’s synopsis will be unveiled with the studio’s official announcement.

Masashi Kishimoto’s phenomenal imagination marks the inception of the Naruto manga series, and following its anime debut, this Unpredictable Blonde Ninja has become everyone’s favourite. Marking the conclusion of the OG series in 2017 kicked off the journey of Boruto, expanding the Naruto universe.
