INDIA: The most versatile and self-made actor in Bollywood, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is making headlines for quite a long time for his troublesome relationship with his estranged wife.
Nawazuddin has reportedly filed a defamation suit against his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui and brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. According to multiple media reports, the actor filed a defamation suit for Rs 100 crore on behalf of all the ‘harassment’ he faced due to misleading claims made by them.
As per reports, Nawazuddin’s lawyer Sunil Kumar filed the defamation case which is to be heard on March 30. The suit requested the court pass an injunction to restrict Aaliya and Shamas from defaming the actor. The case will ensure that both parties are not eligible to publish any defamatory content on their social media handles against Nawaz.
This kind of misleading content and speculation is directly harming the actor’s acting career as he is a public figure. Nawaz claimed that his upcoming movies have been postponed due to the planted defamatory videos and posts made by his wife and brother.
If reports are to be believed, the Sacred Games’ actor has accused his brother of cheating him and defrauding him. As per the petition, Nawazuddin also claimed that his brother provoked Aaliya to file cases against him. He also claimed that Aaliya used his money for her enjoyment.
As earlier mentioned by Nawaz, Rs 10 lakh per month is given for children’s education and Rs 2.5 crore has been given to his wife through which she has opened a ‘production house.’
The ongoing legal battle between the Gangs of Wasseypur actor and his ex-wife is affecting the lives of their children, who reportedly are also facing problems. Thus, the actor wants to sort this out once and for all.
