INDIA: The granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda has started her own podcast, “What The Hell Navya”, which instantly gained popularity amongst audiences. The show is basically about breaking stereotypes, primarily focusing on woman-centric topics like their welfare, career, love and many more.
Every Saturday, a new episode is released. Recently, the show brought together the women of the Bachchan family- Navya, Shweta Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan to the table.
The latest episode begins with the bond of mother-daughter Navya and Shweta discussing modern love, relationships and romance. Whereas grand mother Jaya Bachchan expressed her suggestion for the new younger generation, she believes one should marry their best friend. So, that the duo can share a concrete bond of trust and have each other in all the thick and thin.
Jaya talked about Navya’s decision on having a child out of wedlock, she said, “I’m taking a really clinical approach to it. I believe you should marry your closest friend since romanticism and that passion are lacking in today’s society.”
”You should have a good friend, talk and then say, ‘Let’s get married because that’s what society says because I like you and I think you’re wonderful, so maybe I’d like to have a child with you. I have no problem if you have a child without being married; I have no issue with that,” she added further.
After which, Navya replied saying she knew that her grandmother is too comfortable when it comes to supporting her in real terms.
Putting stress upon how important physical relationships are, Jaya went on saying that the future generation does it when they feel in need of it and that there’s nothing wrong with it because physical attraction and compatibility go hand in hand and both the elements are responsible for a solid relationship.
Jaya Bachchan said, “If there isn’t a physical bond, it won’t continue long. I believe you can’t be last on love, fresh air, and adjustment. It is quite significant.”
