Nani’s Dasara Reaches Rs 100 Crore Mark Globally, Bags Massive Response from Netizens

The makers of Dasara organized a grand success meeting as the film entered the Rs 100 crore-club

INDIA: Natural Star Nani’s current release Dasara, ruled the big screen since its release by receiving high praises from critics and masses. Now, the Telugu mass-entertainer feature took the box office by storm and surpassed a hefty amount of Rs 100 crore worldwide.

Odela Srikanth’s directorial debut Dasara narrates a story of an uprising guy taking revenge and setting friendship goals accustomed to the plot revolving around Singareni coal mines in Telangana.

Dasara embarks on a successive box office run

The Odella Srikanth directorial Telugu movie becomes the first Tollywood film of Nani to gross ₹100 crores globally. The movie starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh made an extraordinary connection with the audience resulting in massive commercial success.

Meanwhile, the makers had organized a grand success meeting for the film to enter the ₹100 crore club. Earlier, superstar Mahesh Babu hailed the movie for its storyline, and now, SS Rajamouli also expressed his views on Twitter to praise the film.

The RRR director wrote, “Amidst the rugged landscape and raw characters, Srikanth Odela manages a tender heart-touching love story. Career best performance by Nani. Keerthy Cake walks through her role. Every actor’s performance was noteworthy. Cinematography is first-class. Special mention to the background score. Hearty Congratulations to the Dasara team on the wonderful success.”

Now, Nani has set a new record for himself. His previously starred film MCA and Gang Leader, both made around Rs 70 crore worldwide. Nani also starred in SS Rajamouli’s Eega, which made more than Rs 125 crore worldwide but was led by Kichcha Sudeepa.

But, now it’s a starlight moment for him as he tastes the new flavour of success. Moreover, as per reports amid the film’s release, the makers have sold its theatrical and digital rights for over Rs 29 crores and Rs 48 crores. 

Reigning the success of Dasara, Nani said that it will be the film of the year, “Last year, RRR came from Telugu cinema. KGF and Kantara came from Kannada cinema. I can confidently and with a lot of pride say that Dasara will come from Telugu cinema in 2023,” said Nani.
