INDIA: Dhanush’s upcoming film Naane Varuvean bagged a brand new teaser. The Selvaraghavan directorial film has already gathered huge hype for the talented star’s dual role set to appear in the feature. Earlier, the makers teased the fans with an announcement poster, and the teaser has now finally arrived.
Naane Varuvean will feature Dhanush in dual roles, as evident from the recently released poster. The main visual showcases the talented actor in two different personas. Dhanush will appear in the film as both the hero and the villain.
Naane Varuvean Teaser opens with Dhanush’s power-packed persona
The upcoming film Naane Varuvean marks Dhanush’s almost decade-long return with his brother and filmmaker Selvaraghavan. Both have earlier collaborated in Pudhupettai (2006), Kadhal Kondein (2003), and Mayakkam Enna (2011). In addition to directing the film, Selvaraghavan also penned the story along with Dhanush.
Naane Varuvean stars Dhanush and Elli AvrRam at the forefront. Selvaraghavan, Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Indhuja Ravichandran, Aajeedh Khalique, and Shelly Kishore round up the talented star cast in prominent roles. Kalaipuli S. Thanu bankrolled the film under the banner of V Creations. Bhuvan Srinivasan handled the editing for the upcoming feature.
The teaser begins with Dhanush’s powerful persona entering a forest setting. The camera follows the talented actor as he clutches a unique knife. Without any dialogue, the teaser captivates us with its intriguing theme and hints that something significant is about to be revealed at the end of the video.
Om Prakash’s cinematography highlights every scene depicted in the teaser. The video’s rich and cool colour palettes foreshadow something robust wrapped in the thriller genre that is planned for the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja also contributed a rocking background score that elevates the official video with each passing second.
On September 7, 2022, the first lyrical music video, “Veera Soora”, was also released. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s soothing music composition and powerful vocals blended perfectly with Selvaraghavan’s lyrics, creating an engaging song.
Recently, the Dhanush-starrer Thiruchitrambalam garnered excellent numbers at the box office. The hit film also starred Nithya Menen, Raashii Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prakash Raj. Given the intriguing concept of Naane Varuvean, it is expected that Dhanush will continue his blockbuster streak.
