INDIA: Motorola, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, has introduced an enhanced version of its budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto E13. The latest iteration offers an expanded storage option to cater to the growing demand for space-hungry applications and media files.
The new variant, boasting 8GB of RAM and an ample 128GB of internal storage, is set to empower users with enhanced data management capabilities. While the storage capacity has received a significant boost, the other specifications of the Moto E13 remain consistent with their predecessors.
The smartphone still features a 13-megapixel primary camera, a Unisoc T606 SoC, and a formidable 5,000mAh battery that ensures prolonged usage without frequent recharging.
In terms of pricing, the fresh Moto E13 variant with its upgraded RAM and storage combo will be accessible to consumers at an attractive price point of Rs 8,999.
Enthusiastic buyers can find it on popular platforms like Flipkart, leading retail stores, and official Motorola outlets. The official sale is scheduled to commence on August 16, sparking anticipation among budget-conscious smartphone seekers.
For a quick recap, the base model of the Moto E13, equipped with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage, was launched at Rs 6,999, while the mid-tier model, featuring 4GB of RAM and the same storage capacity, debuted at Rs 7,999. The phone flaunts an elegant design available in Aurora Green, Cosmic Black, and Creamy White variants.
Despite its appealing features, it’s important to note that the Moto E13 remains limited to 4G connectivity, a drawback in an era where 5G smartphones are gaining prominence.
The device boasts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a teardrop notch housing the front camera. Under the hood, it operates on Android 13 (Go edition), ensuring a streamlined and optimized experience.
The Moto E13’s photography capabilities are supported by a 13-megapixel AI-powered rear camera system and a 5-megapixel front camera. Its user-friendly camera app offers AI-backed features like Auto Smile Capture, Face Beauty, and Portrait Mode.

The launch of the new Moto E13 128GB variant follows closely after Motorola’s recent introduction of the Moto G14 in India. These releases cater to budget-focused consumers seeking reliable smartphones with enhanced capabilities at accessible prices.
