INDIA. Mumbai: In honour of Mother’s Day week, Maharashtra Tourism hosted a Bollywood-themed mother’s day event. The mommy bloggers were taken on a Filmcity Goregaon’s Bollywood Theme Park tour. The event drew over 20 bloggers from the Bloggers Meet Info (BMI) community, who had a great time.

The programme began with a lovely lunch for the mothers, followed by a 7D park theatre experience. It was fascinating, exciting, and entertaining to them. The majority of them were exposed to 7D for the first time. They learned how film footage is filmed and edited in VFX at the Croma Theatre and the secrets of foley noises used in movies to produce a dramatic effect.

They were shown an AV about the history of Indian cinema in a vintage Bollywood style theatre. The participants had a great time watching the troop’s filmy performances. The park has large, wonderfully made sets of various themes and costumes of famous cinema characters on the show for trial purposes. Dummy Bollywood artists were also on hand to entertain them with their routines and antics.

Shreya Gautam, a mommy influencer who was very enthusiastic about the event, stated, “We attend a number of events, particularly around Mother’s Day, but this collaboration between Maharashtra Tourism and Bollywood Park was absolutely unique and enjoyable.”

“Making filmy reels on set, trying on the Jodha Akbar and Mastani outfits, experiencing an exciting 7D experience, and learning about filming processes were all highlights of my trip. Because the organisers were thoughtful enough to obtain us a diet cake, the cake cutting was the icing on the cake,” she added.

Stuti, another mommy blogger, has more to say, “I wasn’t expecting such a different and quirky experience from a Tourism Board. My Bollywood nostalgia was revived during the event. Whether you are a Bollywood fan or not, this place is a must-visit for anyone having a presence on social media as it is filled with beautiful backgrounds and props. The few hours in the Bollywood Park are filled with power-packed performances and entertainment.”
