INDIA: The dashing hero of Bollywood Sidharth Malhotra has been making headlines for quite some time, whether on the personal or professional front, and he has become the talk of the town ever since the release of Shershaah.
Sidharth is yet again buckled up for the release of his upcoming action thriller, Mission Majnu, and he dropped the first poster of the film.

The Thank God actor opted for his social media handle and wrote, “Ek jaanbaaz agent ki ansuni kahaani. MISSION MAJNU Only on Netflix, 20th January. #MissionMajnu #DeshKeLiyeMajnu #NetflixIndia.”
The movie will get a direct-to-digital release. Sidharth Malhotra will play the role of a RAW agent, whereas South sensation Rashmika Mandanna will play the character of a Muslim girl based in Pakistan.
The dynamic actor is seen wearing a brown Pathani suit and very intensely holding a gun in his hand. Malhotra is seen wearing Surma (black kohl) in his eyes and a Bangle and pendant on his neck. The appearance conveys a strong fighter vibe. The movie is directed by Shantanu Bagchi and co-produced by RSVP and GBA.
Recently in an interview, Sidharth talking about the movie, said, “Since this will be my first time acting as a spy, I’m really looking forward to Mission Majnu. It depicts India’s most exciting undercover mission, which changed the country’s relations with its neighbour in the 1970s. With Netflix on board, I have no doubt that this amazing story will be embraced by audiences everywhere.”
Adding more to it, Sidharth said, “Get ready to participate in India’s biggest covert mission, which thwarted Pakistan’s illegitimate nuclear plans! True stories served as my inspiration.”
Besides Mission Majnu, Sidharth Malhotra will next appear in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force and Dharma Productions’ Yodha.
