UNITED STATES: The much anticipated star-studded Met Gala of the 2023 edition is finally happening. The biggest fashion night of the year witnessed several actors making their presence count; amongst them, Gangubai Kathiawadi actress Alia Bhatt made her debut at the event.
The Met Gala is organized by the fashion and entertainment industries. One of the biggest events curated by former Vogue editor Anna Wintour, hosted by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The biggest event witnessed various renowned personalities from the fashion world.
Talking about the fashion night of Met Gala this year, stars will be seen cherishing and giving tribute to the theme ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ with looks inspired by the iconic designer’s work.
The Bhramastra actress arrived at the Met Gala night as designer Prabal Gurung’s muse. The duo gave a subtle nod to Karl Lagerfeld with a pearl white gown that took inspiration from his unforgettable Chanel bride collection.
Priyanka Chopra made a jaw-dropping entry with her husband, Nick Jonas. The Citadel actress is featured in a Valentino column gown that has a long plunge square neckline, a thigh slit on the front, a gathered design on the torso, a ribbon embellishment on the waist, and a figure-skimming silhouette enhancing her look.
The desi girl draped the ensemble with a floor-length jacket featuring exaggerated sleeves and a dramatic train. On the other hand, husband Nick Jonas matched her wife with a black oversized notch-lapel leather blazer. The singer chose a Bulgari snake tie embellishment and a luxurious watch reflecting a top-notch class.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will soon make her Hollywood debut with Netflix’s original Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gaddot and Jamie Dornan. Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with the promotion of her latest Amazon Prime series Citadel.
