UNITED KINGDOM: Meghan, the spouse of Britain’s Prince Harry, launched her latest attack on the British media on Saturday in response to allegations that letters she exchanged with King Charles influenced her decision not to attend his coronation.
In reaction to claims that letters she exchanged with King Charles affected her choice not to attend his coronation, Meghan, the wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, unleashed her most recent attack on the British media on Saturday.
In a letter to the future king, Meghan expressed her worries about unconscious racism in the royal family, according to reports. It said that the family had expressed concerns about how black their son’s complexion would be and that she had mentioned this in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. This prompted the writing of the letter, it was alleged.
The Duchess of Sussex is not satisfied with how her issues have been addressed, so she is going about her life in the present without thinking about correspondence from two years ago or talks from four years ago.
“Any suggestion to the contrary is false and, to be fair, absurd. We urge tabloid journalists and various royal reporters to end the tiresome circus they alone are producing,” she said.
Meghan and Charles both acknowledged that a royal had made assumptions about the skin tone of their unborn Archie during a television appearance in 2021. The statement was not malicious, and Prince Harry will attend King Charles’ Coronation without Meghan. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will remain with the Duchess of Sussex in California.
The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6, 2023, Prince Archie’s fourth birthday. Buckingham Palace has announced that he will attend.
The Duchess of Sussex, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will stay in California and attend the coronation, according to Archewell, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nonprofit organisation.
In March 2020, Harry and Meghan announced their intention to leave their royal responsibilities behind and start fresh in the United States, free from the tyranny of the media.
