UNITED STATES: The highly anticipated video game Marvel’s Midnight Suns is set to be released in less than two months. Firaxis Games, the developer, has already shown glimpses of the future plans in the franchise through the game’s post-launch DLC.
Deadpool is set to join Midnight Suns
Midnight Sun’s social media account had recently been taken over by Deadpool, hinting at a possible addition to the video game. This has been confirmed by the studio, and the “Merc with a Mouth” will indeed be joining the team in 2023.
Deadpool is set to be one of the four heroes joining the Midnight Sun’s team as part of the game’s “Season Pass.” Deadpool will be the first hero that can be obtained, followed by Venom, Michael Morbius, and Storm, who were revealed previously. The player will have to purchase the season pass to obtain the character as a reward. Alternatively, the season pass is available readily with the Legendary Edition of Midnight Suns.
The post-launch DLC packs will contain new story missions involving Deadpool and characters, along with new skins and fancy outfits. Skins for characters like Iron Man, Captain America, and Blade will be available after the launch but have to be obtained from the season pass.
The release dates for the characters haven’t been announced but are expected to drop at some point in 2023. The game itself is set to launch on the 2nd of December this year. Midnight Suns will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox series 2. A Nintendo Switch support is planned to be launched soon.
Marvel’s Midnight Sun is a tactical Role-Playing Game set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe. The game brings players face-to-face against supernatural forces as they team up with as well as survive among the Midnight Suns, the Earth’s last line of defence against the underworld.
