INDIA: The ruling government of Delhi, AAP, plunged into attacking PM Modi over his qualification degree. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a Right to Information (RTI) seeking information about Modi’s degrees. However, the Gujarat High Court charged Rs 25,000 as a penalty to Kejriwal.
He is given a timeframe of four weeks, within which he has to pay the amount. Former education minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia wrote an open letter addressing the people of the country, putting light upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s educational qualification. He calls it ‘dangerous’ for India.
Manish Sisodia’s handwritten letter says, “Today’s youth is ambitious; they want to accomplish something and are looking for opportunities. They want to rule the world. They want to accomplish great things in science and technology. Is a less educated PM capable of meeting the aspirations of today’s youth?”
Further, Sisodia raised his concern towards the current scenario of India. According to him, science is progressing daily, and the world is discussing and adapting artificial intelligence. Whereas the Indian PM has zero knowledge of Science and technology.
Sisodia wrote, “In this context, my heart sinks when I hear the Prime Minister say that by inserting a pipe into a dirty drain, we can make tea or food from dirty gas. Can food be cooked using dirty drain gas? No. When the Prime Minister claims that radar cannot detect an aircraft flying behind clouds, the entire world laughs at him. Students in high school and college make fun of him.”
The former leader also told people to raise their brows at the papers Modi is signing during his foreign political trips. He also claimed that 60,000 schools were shut down in recent years because education is not a priority for the ruling government. Thus, he says, “If we don’t give good education to our children, can the country progress? Never.”
The letter also says, “I saw a video of PM Modi boasting about his lack of education. He claims to have only attended a village school. Is it possible to be proud of being illiterate or uneducated? A country whose prime minister is proud of his lack of education will never provide a good education for its children.”
