INDIA: The much-awaited anthology film Lust Stories 2 finally bagged the teaser. The latest clip of the Netflix anthology series released, promising infinite puns and humour.
The multi-starrer movie features Neena Gupta, Kajol, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Tamannah Bhatia, and many more in lead roles. Netflix India released the nearly one-minute-long video of the anthology film.
Lust Stories 2 bag a brand new teaser
Netflix India announced the anthology film by sharing the clip. The streaming platform added the caption, “Do you believe in lust at first sight? ‘Cause we’re here to walk by again. Brand new stories with a grand new cast. Lust Stories 2 coming soon, only on Netflix! #LustStories2OnNetflix.”
The teaser of Lust Stories 2 unfolds showcasing Neena Gupta at a very elderly age, suggesting to people that one should always opt for a test drive prior to buying a car.
The next scene shows, Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Varma sitting opposite each other in the room as if they are meeting for a marriage.
However, Neena’s words made the duo laugh harder, whereas Kajol is seen giggling. However, the story moves ahead, and Mrunal dances at a club with Angad Bedi.
Vijay is seen romancing Tamannaah Bhatia as if they are in a relationship. The teaser also has Amruta Subhash, Kumud Mishra, and Tillotama Shome.
The teaser concluded with a voice, “Ma, kya bakwas karrahi ho (What nonsense are you talking about)?”
Neena replied, “Jo karke tu paeda hua woh bakwas hai (The way you were born is nonsense)?”
Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh added their directorial vision to the Netflix film. The first instalment of Lust Stories was directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee.
It got critically acclaimed for the bold takes and later got nominated at the 2019 International Emmys. The film bagged the nod in Best TV Movie/Mini-Series category with Radhika Apte nominated in the Best Actress category.
