INDIA: Liger, starring Vijay Deverakonda, has released a new song titled “Waat Laga Denge.” Yesterday, a new song was announced following the release of Akdi Bakdi. The Arjun Reddy star announced the song’s release date on his social media handles.
Finally, Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the music video on his Twitter account. The famed actor tweeted,” India! Aag hein andar Milke, Sabki #WaatLagaDenge #LIGER #LigerOnAug25th.’’
Liger is an upcoming Indian sports action film all set to release under the directorial vision of Puri Jagannadh, which stars Vijay Deverakonda, Mike Tyson, and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, and Getup Srinu round up the film’s ensemble in pivotal roles. Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur co-produced the film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
Liger’s latest track features street dancers’ power-packed performance
“Waat Laga Denge” features Vijay Deverakonda and Ramya Krishnan in the spotlight. While the song also includes street dancers in the power-packed performance through Mumbai’s streets. The drum rhythms synchronised with the performers’ steps create an intense atmosphere. The official music video also includes a preview of Liger’s MMA match.
Vijay Deverakonda provided his voice to the song with the lyrical touch of Puri Jagannadh, while Sunil Kashyap composed the music. The song begins with Deverakonda saying, “Waat Laga Denge,” and subsequently syncs with the words “Aag Hein Andar,” referring to his character in the film. We also see Liger stammering, which is a significant obstacle and serves as intriguing character development for the film.
The sports-action film will star Vijay Deverakonda as Liger while adding Ramya Krishnan as his mother. The new song puts both stars in the limelight and teases that its concept will contain something surprising. Liger is set to debut on August 25 with a pan-Indian release dubbed in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Along with Liger, the patriotic film Jana Gana Mana stars Vijay Deverakonda and adds Puri Jagannadh’s directorial vision to the repertoire. Pooja Hegde will portray the female lead in the next motion picture. The Arjun Reddy actor will also star with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Shiva Nirvana’s directorial, “Kushi”. The romantic comedy film will hit theatres on December 23 2022.
