INDIA: Liger will make its theatrical debut on August 25. The makers had planned to launch the trailer as the release date approached closer. Following the unveiling of the Liger poster, Vijay Deverakonda has emerged as a significant feature of Puri Jagannadh’s directorial film.
The Liger’s crew is preparing for the trailer’s release on July 21, and according to sources, Ranveer Singh will attend the trailer launch event in Mumbai as a guest of honour. Adding a Bollywood celebrity to the trailer release ceremony raises the anticipation for the pan-Indian film even more. In addition to the Liger ensemble, Karan Johar will be attending the event.
Liger’s poster generated massive hype among the fans
The Vijay Deverakonda starrer film shattered the internet with its poster release. The recently unveiled Liger poster featured the famed star in an entirely naked posture. The actor is seen in his bold muscular style, clutching a bunch of roses in his gloved hand. The poster also shows off his imposing body, complete with six-pack abs. Vijay’s fiery appearance is heightened through the wording on the poster, which reads, “Saala Crossbreed.”
The Arjun Reddy famed star sparks quite a buzz on social media with his nude appearance in the newly released poster. After entertaining audiences’ interest with features such as Geetha Govindam, Taxiwala, NOTA, and Dear Comrade, the south superstar is poised to debut his pan-India release.
Liger is an upcoming Indian sports action film all set to release under the directorial vision of Puri Jagannadh, which stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur co-produced the film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
Aside from the Indian ensemble, the film also features Mike Tyson, an American former professional boxer. On Mike’s 56th birthday, his entire Liger team wished him all the best. Vijay Deverakonda greeted him with a Twitter video of the whole Liger cast. The video was captioned with, “Happy Birthday @miketyson. I never even dreamt of meeting you, forget all the things I got with you. You are a memory for life, #Liger.”
Liger chronicles Vijay Deverakonda’s MMA adventure in the titular role which is set to release in Hindi, Telegu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada .
