An early sign of success
Earlier during the qualifiers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and Toto Wolff of Mercedes, cheered Hamilton while he grabbed his 100th pole position.
Hamilton’s ton of poles makes him 32 ahead of F1 legend Michael Schumacher and 35 ahead of Ayrton Senna.
