INDIA: Lamborghini India has introduced the lighter and faster Urus Performante in the Indian market.
Lamborghini Urus buyers can expect a more purposeful buying experience from the performance car manufacturer. It is important to note that the Lamborghini Urus Performante arrives in our country shortly after its August debut worldwide.
According to Lamborghini, the new Urus version demonstrated its ability on both paved and dirt roads. It set a new official record by breaking the previous 2018 record of 10:49.902 for production SUVs by covering 4,302 metres in 10:32.064 seconds at Pikes Peak.
Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India, claimed that Urus has been instrumental in breaking through to new markets and driving growth for the brand in India. He termed the Ursus a “true game changer.” He mentioned that Urus had set a new sales record for Lamborghini in the local market, delivering over 200 units.
The Urus drove through the Umling La Pass at 19,300 feet above sea level, thus setting a new world record for being driven on the highest motorable road in the world.
A new level of lightweight and aerodynamic design provides a sportier and more engaging driving experience for this super SUV. It holds the driving elements and adaptability inseparable from solid Lamborghini DNA while increasing present expectations “for entertainment only to drive” execution and detailed looks.
Lamborghini has introduced several aesthetic changes to the Performante, including a bumper and bonnet design that emphasise the Performante’s super sports heritage. Due to its extensive use of composite materials, the Urus Performante has the most carbon fibre components.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante also offers an option for a roof made of carbon fibre. The Urus Performante’s newly designed rear spoiler also boosts the vehicle’s rear downforce by 38%.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante has brand-new steel springs that lower the chassis by 20 millimetres and widen the wheel track by 16 millimetres. Over these wider carbon fibre wheel arches are new lightweight wheels with titanium bolts and specially developed Pirelli tyres that are available as options.
With a best-in-class weight-to-power ratio and a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.3 seconds, the Performante is lighter by 47 kg. The Urus Performante has a top speed of 306 kilometres per hour and produces 850 Nm of torque between 2,300 and 4,500 rpm.
