INDIA: Lamborghini India has officially revealed the cost of its brand-new car for India, the Huracan Sterrato.

The off-road-focused sports car with a V10 engine costs 4.61 crores (ex-showroom). The car will be unveiled in November 2022 at Art Basel Miami.

The car resembles the Huracan Sterrato concept that Lamborghini showed in June 2019.

Lamborghini’s Porsche 911 Dakar series challenger features numerous significant design and mechanical modifications.

The Huracan Sterrato receives chunky body cladding, roof rails, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a roof-mounted scoop.

The 19-inch Bridgestone tyres with cast aluminium alloys and rally-style front bumper-mounted lights are some of its initial features.

Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (LIVD) is also present in the Huracan Sterrato. Additionally, the car cleared the road legality tests in India.

The rally-inspired sports car boasts the new Rally driving mode introduced in the Urus Performante.

The car also features Sport and Sport+ modes. On low-grip terrain, the Urus Performante’s Rally mode promises a fun driving experience.

The Sterrato is made of carbon fibre and aluminium, like other Huracan models. The brakes are carbon-ceramic: 356mm in the back and 380mm in the front.

Strikingly, Lamborghini has changed its suspension and raised the ride level. The car’s ride height is now 44 millimetres higher than the Huracan EVO.

The 5,204-cc naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine of the Huracan Sterrato produces 610 PS at 8,000 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The car has all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Huracan Sterrato can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in a mere 3.4 seconds, and it only takes 9.8 seconds to reach 200 kilometres per hour from a standstill. The top speed of the Huracan Sterrato is 260 kph.

The Huracan Sterrato has a price tag of Rs. 4.61 crore. In comparison, the Huracan Tecnica costs 4.04 crore. The third quarter of 2023 marks the beginning of deliveries to India.
