INDIA: South Korean auto manufacturer Kia has kicked off 2023 with its best-ever sales numbers in India, delivering 28,634 units in January.

The Kia Carens MPV played a crucial role in these impressive results, contributing to a 48 per cent Year on Year growth and registering its own record-breaking sales with 7,900 units sold in the country last month.
Since its launch in February 2022, Kia Carens has recorded a cumulative sale of 70,656 units within one year, accounting for 11 per cent of the company’s total sales of 651,653 units. The MPV quickly gained popularity among Indian consumers, receiving 7,738 bookings within 24 hours of its launch.
One of the reasons for the Kia Carens’ success in India is its affordable pricing, with a starting price of Rs 10.19 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol variant and Rs 12.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel version.

These drivetrains come in five different variants – Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus – each offering different seating layouts and features. The Luxury Plus variant is the top-spec option, offering the most luxurious and comfortable experience.
