INDIA: Kartik Aaryan is counted amongst the finest actors of Bollywood for his diversified acting skills and his charismatic persona. The actor gave the biggest hit to Bollywood last year with Bhool Bhulaiya 2 when the industry is struggling to maintain its cachet with aplomb.
Kartik Aaryan is very close to his followers thus, enjoys a worldwide fandom. He is active on social media and keeps updating his loved ones with his reels and posts. The actor’s comic timing and sense of humour are irreplaceable, which brings huge engagement to a movie.
However, at the time of covid, Kartik Aaryan was making headlines for getting dropped out of Karan Johar’s Dostana 2. The movie had gone on floors before the pandemic began, and the actor had shot for many parts of the film, but suddenly news broke that the actor was out of the movie, and many accused Kartik of being unprofessional.
However, the star has since kept quiet about the controversy and responded to everyone by revealing a huge blockbuster movie in 2022.
Kartik Aaryan discussed about his exit from Dostana 2 in ‘Aap ki Adalat’
Currently, Kartik Aryan was invited to Rajat Sharma’s ‘Aap ki Adalat’, where he confronted the whole incident of breaking ties with the Dharma Production big-budget film.
The actor said, “This occasionally occurs. I haven’t previously discussed this. I really believe in the lessons my mother instilled in me, and these principles also guide my behaviour. When two individuals argue, I feel that the younger side should never speak about it. I adhere to that, so I never bring it up.”
Kartik Aaryan was even asked if he demanded a huge amount of money for the film, to which the Pyaar ka Punchnama actor continued saying, “This is a made-up tale, comparable to Chinese whispers. Never once have I quit a movie over money. I am very greedy, but it is for script rather than money.”
Kartik also brushed off all rumours about him and Karan Johar’s film. The Freddy actor marked some points that caused him to leave the movie.
The actual reason was not the coordination problem but the change in the script. The relationship between the actor and director remained unaffected, and Karan applauded Kartik’s Shehzada trailer and praised him on Instagram.
The actor also recalled a piece of advice he received from Salman Khan. He revealed about his films doing well during the pandemic as compared to the other stars.
Khan told him, “Jab sabki hit ho rahi hoti he, aur tumhari hit ho toh maza nahi ata, jab sabki flop ho rahi hai aur tumhari hit ho gayi toh history ho jaati he.” (When everyone is giving a box office hit, it doesn’t make much difference but when you are the only one who gives a hit and other films flop then it makes more sense.)
