INDIA: Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut’s Tamil sequel film, ‘Chandramukhi 2’, has bagged a new update. The makers have shared a brand new poster of the Tamil featurette along with the release date. The film has reserved the slot for its release on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Kangana just announced the release date of her upcoming period drama film Emergency, and now, parallelly, she has announced Chandramukhi 2.
Chandramukhi 2 is gearing up for release on September 19, 2023. Raghava Lawrence unveiled the poster of the film and wrote, “We are thrilled to announce that the doors to the much-awaited sequel, Chandramukhi 2, will be open from Ganesh Chaturthi.”
The poster features Lawrence in an intense look closley observing the hole in the door. The yellowish tone of the picture gives us a hint about the cinematography for the upcoming horror comedy feature.
Lawrence will play the lead role opposite Kangana in the film. Besides this, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushtii Dange, Ravi Maria, and Suresh Menon will be seen playing supporting roles.
The much-awaited movie is made under the joint banner of Lyca Productions and Subaskaran. The pan-India movie will release in all different languages, which include Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Sharing the poster, Kangana wrote, “This September she is coming back… Are you ready?”
The film is directed by P. Vasu, who is returning to the director’s chair after a long absence, whereas the songs are composed by Oscar winner M. M. Keeravaani. The film was finally wrapped up with the production work on June 20, 2023.
Apart from this, talking about Kangana’s professional front, she has recently donned the hat of a producer and delivered a quirky film, Tiku Weds Sheru. Next, she will be seen in the film Emergency. This movie will mark Kangana’s solo directorial debut.
Talking about Raghava Lawrence, he will feature in Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial Jigar Thanda Double X along with S J Suryah.
