INDIA: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut celebrates the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha, popularly known as Mahatma Buddha. The Queen actress opted to use her social media handle and preached to her followers to meditate on this very auspicious day. She recalled the story of how Prince Siddhartha became Lord Buddha.
On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, Kangana shared a special message on her Instagram handle. She shared the image of Lord Buddha on her Insta story with a special note about India and meditation. She also expressed her thoughts on how “Indians never get enough credit for leading the world”.
The Tanu Weds Manu actress wrote, “Before he became Buddha, he was just a boy called Siddhartha. Indians never get enough credit for leading the world…”
Kangana further wrote, “Like Shiva, like Lord Rama, like Krishna, here’s another Indian, who was bestowed upon with the ultimate realization… the world is still shining in his glow…”
The leading lady of the B-town is very inclined towards religious beliefs and is often seen visiting pilgrims.
Thus, she promoted the power of mediation and wrote, “Bowing down to this land that has raised so many Gods… meditate on this Buddha Purnima and feel blessed to be born in Bharat.”
Talking about the upcoming film lineup of Kangana, the actress will next be seen in the movie Emergency. She will be the lady in the director’s chair while donning the role of lead in the acting department.
Besides her, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary and Vishak Nair round up the star cast in prominent roles. The actress will portray the role of India’s former PM, the late Indira Gandhi.
Besides Emergency, she will be seen in the Tamil film Chandramukhi 2 alongside Raghava Lawrence.
