Todd Phillips shared a new glimpse from Joker 2. The director wrote, “Day 1. Our boy. #joker.” The first look provides us with a proper view of Joaquin Phoenix. The image showcases the actor getting a clean shave in the asylum.
The entire picture summarizes the dark cinematography with Phoenix’s intense look. The whole scenario of the image hints at a moment before the Clown Prince of Crime wreaks chaos in what appears to be Arkham Asylum.
The caption written by Phillips provides us with a clear-cut idea that Joker 2 filming has started. The announcement of the film shooting creates a wave of excitement among fans. “SOUND THE ALARMMMMSSS” reacted one user. Another fan added, “Let’s Goooo.”
Joker 2 serves as the sequel to the smash hit and Academy Award winner Joker (2019). The upcoming sequel marks the return of Todd Phillips to the director’s chair. The filmmaker has also penned the story for the DC feature.
