INDIA: Ulajh first look out! The renowned production house Junglee Pictures, known for spy thriller movies like Raazi, has unveiled the first poster for their upcoming film titled Ulajh starring Janhvi Kapoor in the pivotal role. The movie is a stylized international thriller based on the prestigious and intriguing world of Indian Foreign Services (IFS).
The much-hyped movie is directed by National award-winner Sudhanshu Saria. Besides Kapoor, the movie will also have a fine cast like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and many more. The filming of the movie will start at the end of the month.
The poster shows Janhvi Kapoor standing in the middle, wearing a graceful khadi cotton navy blue and maroon saree. Apart from Jahnvi Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi stand on both sides of Kapoor wearing black Jodhpuri suits with meridian collars.
The story is written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria. Ulajh showcases the journey of a young IFS officer coming from a prominent family of patriots who get targeted in a serious personal conspiracy.
Talking about the film, Janhvi Kapoor said, “When I was approached with the script for ‘Ulajh,’ it immediately piqued my interest since, as an actor, I am always seeking projects that push me outside of my comfort zone, and playing a character rooted in the famed realm of the Indian Foreign Services did just that. My character and the plot, as the title says, have many layers, emotions, and parameters that are both tough and thrilling.”
“I am excited for the audience to witness me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who approaches this genre in such a novel way. I’m also looking forward to my first time working with such outstanding co-actors and a development studio like Junglee Pictures,” she concluded.
