INDIA: Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff’s wife and former film producer Ayesha Shroff filed a cheating case at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station. She has been conned out of Rs 58 lakh, as per reports.
Thus, the Mumbai police have infused a case against the accused, Alan Fernandez, under IPC sections 420, 408, 465, 467, and 468. The police team has launched a probe and is investigating the whole matter.
According to reports, on November 20, Tiger Shroff and his mother, Ayesha, owned MMA Matrix Company, appointed Alan as a director of gym operations. However, due to professional commitments, the mother-son duo left all the responsibilities on the shoulder of Alan.
Now, according to the complaint, the director organized a total of 11 tournaments in India and abroad. Then collected the fees in the company’s name from December 2018 to January 2023. The record says Rs 58,53,591 is left in the company’s bank account.
Ayesha had previously filed a case of cheating and criminal intimidation against actor Sahil Khan, where she blamed Khan for failing to clear a debit amount of ₹4 crores.
Ayesha is a renowned persona, a former model and mother of actor Tiger Shroff. She is popularly known for her presence opposite Mohnish Bahl in Teri Baahon Mein (1984).
“Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain”, starring Govinda, marked her transition into production in 2000. In 2003, she produced a film “Boom”, which featured Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in prominent roles.
However, the 2003 Bollywood feature turned out to be a box office failure. According to reports, her family sold their home at the time due to the film’s poor box office performance in 2003.
