AUSTRALIA: Riding on half-centuries from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, India defeated the Netherlands by 56 runs. This is India’s second consecutive win in this T20 World Cup and after this win, India is at the top of the points table. In this match after winning the toss India decided to bat first.

Indian Innings

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for India. KL Rahul was out in the 3rd over and the Netherlands were happy to get him out this early.

India, playing with caution, managed to score only 32 runs on the power-play. India looked to attack the bowlers but was unable to find boundaries.

At the end of the 10th over, with the help of a six and a four in the same over, India managed to score 67 runs.

After his half-century, Rohit Sharma was out in the 12th over, leaving Suryakumar and Kohli to finish the job.

At the end of the 15th over, India was 114-2 and needed some good acceleration from here to score something big, although the wicket was not something that supports batting.

Netherlands Innings

It was looking difficult for them to score, and at the end of the 10th over, NED scored only 51 runs and lost another wicket in the process.
