Honor Pad 8 to Launch in India at an Affordable Price

INDIA: After several hints, Honor has finally unveiled its newest tablet, the Pad 8, in India. A Snapdragon 680 SoC chipset powers the 12-inch 2K LCD on the Honor Pad 8.

The Honor Pad 8 has a 12-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels and a stylish 6.9mm metal casing. The display is certified by TUV Rheinland for reduced blue light at the hardware level and has a brightness of 350 nits.

The 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform processor and Adreno 610 GPU power the Honor Pad 8. The tablet has 128GB of internal storage and two RAM options: 4GB and 6GB, as was already reported. The tablet runs an Android 12- A based operating system called Magic UI 6.1.

A 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and a 5MP rear camera are both built into the Honor Pad 8. A 7250 mAh battery with 22.5W rapid charging capabilities powers the device.

Eight speakers are included with the item. The gadget includes DTS:X Ultrasound technology and Honor’s exclusive Histen audio tuning algorithm for a strong audio output.

Honor Pad 8 pricing and more

Starting on September 23, the 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB RAM and storage models of the Honor Pad 8 will only be offered on Flipkart at introductory rates of Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively.

Honor is still in business in India and is actively introducing various electrical devices.

With the Honor Pad 8, the company has reemerged in India’s tablet market to compete with Motorola, Realme, and Nokia’s products.

With its high-resolution display, metallic body, potent sound system, and long-lasting battery, the tablet aims to establish the company’s name in the sub-Rs. 20,000 category.
