UNITED STATES: Given only two weeks until the House of the Dragon series’ OTT debut, the creators have introduced a brand-new poster that adds to Westeros’ lore and legends. The new image piques the viewer’s interest in discovering more about the impending Game of Thrones prequel show.
Previously, the show’s creators unveiled character posters featuring the ensemble cast. Later, a brief trailer was released, providing a small preview of the series’ forthcoming events and a proper glance at dragons soaring over the skies.
House of the Dragon gets a new poster
House of the Dragon is a prequel series based on George RR Martin’s novel “Fire and Blood.” It will centre on the Targaryen civil war, which occurred about 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.”
The show’s ensemble cast includes Paddy Considine as King Viserys I Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy and Milly Alcock as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Lady Alicent Hightower, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria and Rhys Ifans as Ser Otto Hightower.
House of the Dragon will arrive in two weeks to set the screen on fire. Game of Thrones fans will be able to relive the majestic world of Westeros. The brand-new poster raises anticipation among enthusiasts.
The new key visual features Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen standing with a determined expression on her face. The poster’s main focus is the dragon, which holds great significance in Targaryen House. With the addition of flames and smoke, the main visual looks spectacular.
Besides House of the Dragon, another Game of Thrones spinoff series is in development. The anticipated spinoff will act as a continuity of the Game of Thrones storyline. The show’s primary focus will be Kit Harrington’s portrayal of John Snow and the events that followed the original ones.
Since the trailer’s release and multiple posters, House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel series, has sparked a lot of excitement among fans. HBO Max will release the show for streaming on August 21 in the United States. The series will be available to stream in India on Disney+ Hotstar from August 22.
