INDIA: Two burnt bodies of Muslim men from Rajasthan were recovered from a Mahindra Bolero SUV in Loharu in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. The deceased were identified as Nasir, 25, and Junaid, 35.
Both the victims were earlier kidnapped from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district on Wednesday. As per the information, both are residents of Ghatmeeka village in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan.
Reports suggest that they could be victims of cases of cow vigilantism. Bharatpur Range IG Gaurav Srivastava said, “Two guys were reported missing, and Gopalgarh PS in Bharatpur received the information. Their cell phones had been turned off. We started searching for them after learning that they had been abducted and viciously assaulted while in a bolero car.”
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur, Shyam Singh, lodged an FIR at Gopalgarh police station against suspected five persons based on a complaint registered by the victim’s family members.
In a piece of insightful information, the five men accused of kidnapping Nasir and Junaid were Monu Manesar, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singhia, Anil and Srikant. Monu Manesar is a member of Bajrang Dal.
All the accusers were claimed of participating actively in cow vigilantes. As per police investigation, Nasir does not have any previous criminal record, whereas Junaid has five cases of cow smuggling against him. The car which was set blazed was named after Aseen Khan from the chassis number of the four-wheeler.
According to the Haryana Police, the following sections were implemented upon the accused, including 365 (kidnapping or abduction with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of the Indian Penal Code. The case was registered at Gopalgarh police station in Rajasthan.
