INDIA: In a recent development, the Election Commission of India announced the poll schedule for Gujarat, which will begin on December 1, followed by the result, which will come out on December 8, 2022. Meanwhile, AAP chief Aravind Kejriwal made a big announcement which condemned his party to “definitely win”.

Aravind Kejriwal said, “I am your brother, part of your family. Give me one chance, and I’ll give you free electricity; build schools and hospitals… and take you to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.” The Delhi CM directly took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is currently serving in Gujarat.

Kejriwal wanted people to have second thoughts before casting their votes for the BJP prior to the Morbi bridge collapse on October 30, which killed more than 130 people. The AAP Chief claimed the accident was a result of “huge corruption that came to the fore in Morbi”

Meanwhile, in a media interaction, AAP chief spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “We are winning 90-95 seats (of the 182) now. And if this pace continues, we will win 140 to 150 seats”. He further added on saying, “This election is about free-of-cost and world-class education — the kind we have provided in Delhi — and about world-class mohalla clinics.”

During the meantime, Kejriwal has made several tours to Gujarat over the past few months along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, to make the people of Gujarat aware of their “Delhi model of development” and their plannings for bringing a new change in the city of Gujarat.

AAP in the past slammed BJP for intentionally tempering its reputation by charging Delhi Dy CM Manish Sisodia over liquor corruption. Now, in the midst of the Gujarat election, Kejriwal wants to win seats in the Jewel of Western India like Punjab and Delhi.
