UNITED STATES: Netflix unveiled a new update regarding the highly-anticipated Knives Out 2. The streaming behemoth recently revealed the first look and release date for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Knives Out has garnered positive ratings from critics and has emerged as the audience’s favourite mystery film since its release in 2019. A sequel was announced following the success of the first film. Netflix also confirmed the title for Knives Out 2 earlier this year.

Netflix is back with another update on Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The streaming giant revealed that Knives Out 2 would be released on December 23. Along with the release date, a first look at the mystery movie is also out.
Netflix shared the first look of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The tweet read, “Nothing brings friends together like a killer party. Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson & Dave Bautista star in @rianjohnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
The first look features the film’s ensemble cast at the dining table. We also get a proper glimpse of Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc interrogates Edward Norton’s character at a dinner party.
Rian Johnson returns to the director’s chair with Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The filmmaker previously directed Knives Out 2019. The director has also handed in the script for the upcoming mystery sequel. Nathan Johnson has provided the music for the movie. Steve Yedlin has also joined as the cinematographer.
In addition to the release date, Netflix has revealed that Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be released in selected theatres. The streaming behemoth, however, has not announced a theatrical release date for Knives Out 2. The Russo Brother’s directorial The Gary Man starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, and Dhanush, was previously released in selective theatres prior to the Netflix release.
