India: GIGABYTE, a Taiwanese computer manufacturer, introduced the new G5 series gaming laptops in India on Tuesday. These laptops feature an Intel 12th Gen CPU.

The laptops will be available nationwide in online and offline retail stores for Rs 77,887.
According to Sunil Grewal, Director, GIGABYTE Technology India Private Ltd., the new GIGABYTE G5 completes its 12th Generation gaming laptop family.
The latest product is a low-cost option for new gamers and budding streamers. Grewal adds that the laptop’s thin and light build makes it ideal for students and professionals. Three models will be available for the laptops: G5, ME, KE, and GE.
The GIGABYTE G5 series includes a 12th-generation Intel® i5-12500H CPU with 12 cores, 16 threads, and a clock speed of 4.5GHz. It also includes an RTX 30 series GPU and 16 GB of DDR4 3200Mhz memory.
The G5 KE laptop from GIGABYTE now features MUX switch technology, which improves gaming performance and increases frame rates.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 will be available on the G5 KE, the RTX 3050 will be available on the G5 ME, and the RTX 3050 will be available on the G5 GE.
According to the company, the new thin and light offering from GIGABYTE is the ideal on-the-go device and is more than capable of handling gaming and productivity workloads without compromising its portability.
The laptops have a 15.6-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 Liquid Crystal Display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which makes for an extremely immersive gaming experience.
Additionally, the G5 promises to deliver an immersive gaming and entertainment experience thanks to its 86% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels. Since, they weigh less than 1.9 kilograms, laptops are easy to transport.
The company’s in-house innovative WINDFORCE cooling technology helps the G5 Series to be predictable in their performance levels during high-load gaming sessions or mixed media handling.
According to the manufacturer, the laptop is capable of stable and complete heat dissipation thanks to its five heat pipes, four exhaust vents, and highly efficient dual fans with 59 blades.
