The fire was doused late in the night after six hours with the help of eight fire engines, five water jetties, and other equipment. The huge plumes of smoke billowing from the building could be seen from a far-off distance.
Initially, the Chroma and LED lights caught fire, and then the fire spread to adjoining areas.

The lighting work was going on, and the fire broke out apparently due to a short circuit. There was also the set of Rajashri Productions in the vicinity. Fortunately, it was not affected.
