UNITED STATES: The Twitter rebranding saga led by Elon Musk is in full swing, and the latest victim of this exercise is TweetDeck, the beloved dashboard application for managing multiple Twitter accounts. As part of the efforts to give the platform a fresh identity, TweetDeck will now be known as XPro.

The announcement came via a tweet from Elon Musk himself last week, where he playfully stated, “Name is changing to XPro. Will come with a wide range of psy op plugins.” Although the mention of “psy op plugins” was merely a joke, the news of the renaming quickly caught the attention of Twitter users and social media enthusiasts.

The rebranding initiative began with the transformation of social media giant Twitter into simply “X.” Now, it seems Musk is determined to rename all associated assets of the platform to align with this new identity. Twitter Blue, the subscription-based service offering additional features, was the first to be rebranded as “Blue.”

The newly named XPro branding has already started appearing on the TweetDeck landing page. Users visiting the page while signed out can witness the change, and the updated logo is also visible on the top of their browser tabs. Despite the rebranding, the URL for the landing page remains unchanged as tweetdeck.twitter.com, raising speculation about potential future changes.

For many Twitter users, TweetDeck has become an essential tool, allowing them to efficiently manage large Twitter communities, multiple accounts, or businesses’ social media activities handled by a team. The dashboard offers comprehensive control over content posting, scheduling, monitoring of posts, and more.

However, users should be aware that the new XPro version of TweetDeck will not be immediately accessible to everyone. The official Twitter Support account, now known simply as “Support,” tweeted earlier that an improved version of the dashboard was on the way.

This upgraded version promised to introduce exciting features, such as full composer functionality, access to Spaces, video docking, polling, and more. However, to gain access to these enhancements, users will need to be verified within 30 days. As the deadline approaches, eager users are ensuring their verification to experience the improved XPro dashboard.
