INDIA: Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 2 is gearing up to debut in a few months, which emerges as the newest title from the Bollywood star. Serving as a sequel to Drishyam 2015, which is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam movie, the mystery thriller film recently bagged a new update which will definitely boost the excitement of viewers.
Mystery-thriller lovers rejoice! The much-awaited sequel is finally arriving, bringing back the Salgaonkar family. Since the release of the title poster, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the teaser, and to heighten the anticipation, the makers shared the first look release date on social media.
Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn, bagged a teaser release date
Ajay Devgn shared the update regarding the teaser release on Twitter. The actor tweeted, ”2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. Recall Teaser Out Tomorrow! #Drishyam2 #Tabu #AkshayeKhanna @shriya1109 #RajatKapoor @ishidutta #MrunalJadhav @AbhishekPathakk.”
Drishyam 2 will receive its first recall teaser tomorrow. The Bollywood star also shared the poster featuring the lead stars. We get a proper look at Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav. The characters can be seen holding a shovel, bag, and CD. The key visual hints at all the mysteries that were buried at the climax of the first film are set to be unearthed in the sequel.
Recently, Ajay Devgn piqued the audience’s interest by tweeting, ‘’Kuch purane bills haath lage aaj!’’ The actor shared a photo of a CD, bills, and bus tickets, all of which reminded fans of the previous film. Given the images of all the objects, only die-hard Drishyam fans understood the significance of the mentioned plot devices.
Abhishek Pathak’s directorial Drishyam 2 is set to debut in theatres on November 18, 2022. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Rajat Kapoor in the lead roles. Panorama Studios, along with Viacom18 Studios and T-Series Films, produced the upcoming crime-thriller.
The Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam film, Drishyam 2, recently bagged the third installment, which will continue the story with all the lead characters.
