UNITED STATES: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the much-anticipated MCU film, premiered in Hollywood on Tuesday. While there was a lot of excitement for Benedict Cumberbatch’s movie, Marvel fans were surprised to see Hollywood celebrities at the premiere in Los Angeles. From Benedict Cumberbatch to Elizabeth Olsen, the stars brought their A-game to the red carpet event.
Benedict, the man of the moment, was seen dressed up for the major premiere of his film. The actor is dressed suavely in a pristine grey suit with a black tie. The actor’s blue-tinted sunglasses added to his flawless ensemble for the occasion. The actor even accommodated some admirers with a selfie while traversing the red carpet.
The excitement during the event was palpable, as the MCU fans’ long-awaited moment had finally arrived. We witness Benedict exuberantly expressing his excitement in one of the videos published by Marvel Entertainment’s official account, and it’s pretty remarkable.
Rachel McAdams, who plays Stephen Strange’s old colleague, was also sighted on the red carpet in a stunning avatar, wearing a lemon yellow couture gown. The actress was seen speaking to the fans with her blonde locks open, channeling her joy and “madness” throughout the event amid the audience’s screams.
Elizabeth Olsen, aka the Scarlet Witch, wowed the red carpet with her sizzling all-black avatar. The actress wore a black blazer and matching slacks and grinned at the camera while leaving her strands open. During the red carpet event in LA, even Olsen posed with some ecstatic admirers. In a white designer floral dress, Xochitl Gomez looked stunning. Benedict Wong also graced the celebration, called the Master of the Mystic Arts, who arrived fully dressed up.
On May 6, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the sequel to Marvel Studios’ 2016 film Doctor Strange, will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theatres across the country. Benedict plays the titular character in the upcoming film, directed by Sam Raimi. The sequel follows Doctor Strange as he struggles to limit the fallout from the multiverse-fracturing spell he cast in the popular film Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, which allowed villains from all over the multiverse to flow into the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s main timeline.
