INDIA: Dhanush’s action thriller Naane Varuvean has finally arrived on Amazon Prime Video. The Tamil feature opened to big screens on September 29, 2022, clashing with Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. Despite its collision with a huge multi-starrer film, it gained the highlight for its thriller concept from critics as well as from the masses.

Naane Varuvean is now available to stream on Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video’s official Twitter handle shared the news. The streaming giant tweeted, ‘’this horror thriller is now all yours to watch. #NaaneVaruveanOnPrime, watch now! @theVcreations @dhanushkraja @selvaraghavan @thisisysr @omdop @RVijaimurugan 1@theedittable’’

The streaming platform also unveiled two new posters featuring Dhanush. The poster features the Tamil star in dual roles. For the unknown, Naane Varuvean showcases the actor in the roles of twin brothers Kathir and Prabhu. The given picture depicts both characters’ traits with a perfect background design.

Reacting to posters, fans expressed their excitement. One fan added. ‘’Kathir vs. Prabhu, twin instinct.’’ Another user tweeted, ‘’we want uncut version.’’

Those who have watched Naane Varuvean know that it secretly holds tonnes of horror elements plus brutal scenes. Critics lauded the film for Dhanush’s performance which is quite obvious because the versatile actor chooses unique scripts that suit a perfect match for the masses and cinephiles.

Naane Varuvean also bagged numerous praises for the songs ‘’Veera Soora’’ and ‘’Rendu Raaja’’ which again was obvious because it has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the musical member, that too with the collaboration of Dhanush.

Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan directed Naane Varuvean, and he also appeared in a cameo appearance as a serial killer. Holding action and thriller elements, the film stars Dhanush as Prabhu and Kathir. Elli AvrRam and Indhuja Ravichandran also joined the team as female leads. Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Shelly Kishore, and Saravana Subbiah round up the star cast in pivotal roles.

Besides Naane Varuvean, Dhanush is set to appear in Vaathi, releasing in December. The Tamil star also appeared in The Russo Brother’s The Gray Man, which also garnered high praises for his performance as the Lone Wolf. The actor is also set to appear in the spinoff of the Netflix film.
