INDIA. Mumbai: Actor Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee welcomed their first child on April 3, within three months the couple recapitulated their second pregnancy. It seems happiness and blessings are coming their way all through.
The duo became proud parents of a girl child, Lianna. Debina is an active vlogger, she is strong, confident and independent. Her inspiring pregnancy journey is known to all. The social media influencer previously talked about her pregnancy struggle and the surrogacy journey before embracing motherhood.
The couple took to their respective social media handles and made it official by writing, “Few decisions are divinely timed and nothing can change that…this is one such blessing..coming soon to complete us. #babyno2 #mommieagain #ontheway.” The duo got hitched in 2011. However, in an old interview, the actor had talked of getting eloped and getting married at a temple in Goregaon in 2006, without their families’ concern.
Debina recalls the moment she prayed and tried all possible ways to enjoy the phrase of motherhood. She says, “I visited doctors, normal gynaecologists, IVF specialists to find out what problem I had. I had endometriosis. For that to be treated, I did whatever possible treatments were available. I did acupuncture – it is a therapy where they will remove all the toxins from your body.”
Adding more to it she revealed more about the treatment, “Endometriosis is a condition wherein, the bleeding happens inside the walls of the uterus. So that may cause problems in conceiving. I needed to solve and clear this situation. For this, I took allopathic medicine. I took the root of Ayurveda. In acupuncture, a needle is inserted in the ear – it’s called the Chinese approach to fertility. It was like a routine for me.”
However, everything is worthwhile in the end, as the couple is blessed with two children now.
