Reportedly, Singh was accused of kidnapping the young lady and brutally killing her in March 2021. He was declared guilty of her murder in February of this year. The reports suggested Singh had dumped his ex’s body in a shallow grave, which the police recovered.

The nightmare came into existence when Jashmeen was kidnapped from her workplace in Adelaide. Further, she was carried for four hours in the boot of the car. The cops found her body, blindfolded, limbs bound with cable ties and gaffer tape, in a shallow grave in the Flinders Ranges.

Singh premeditated her murder because he was unable to get past their relationship’s breakup, according to the prosecution. Rashpaul, Jasmeen Kaur’s mother, claimed Singh was obsessed on her child despite her “one hundred times” rejections.

According to Prosecutor Carmen Matteo, the crime had a particularly high degree of cruelty, and the victim had to have been conscious of what can only be characterised as the utter dread of breathing in, swallowing, and dying that way.

Further, the mother of the victim said she would never forgive Singh for what he had done. She mourned her daughter’s death.

As per a US-based news channel, Rashpaul said that there was no one to save her daughter; she spent her final hour on earth with the worst of humanity. The victim’s mother went on to say that Jasmeen is no longer alive and that she is distraught.

Rashpaul further added that she went through a dreadful series of events and wondered when her daughter recognised she was in mortal danger.
