UNITED KINGDOM: Coldplay announced a concert that would take place in Perth in November that would facilitate their 2021 album Music of the Spheres World Tour, which was the #1 album on the ARIA Albums Chart, as the foundation for their current tour.
The show will take place at the Optus Stadium on November 19, along with the initial show on November 18, due to demands skyrocketing.
At Optus Stadium, listeners may anticipate hearing songs from that record as well as time-honoured favourites like “Clocks” and “Viva La Vida.” There will be no advance sales or sign-up for the newly scheduled show, and general public purchase of tickets commence on May 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
Chris Martin and the band’s inaugural appearance in the nation since 2016 will take place in Perth. A limited number of Infinity Tickets, which were released by Coldplay on their world tour to make it more affordable and accessible, will additionally be made available for the two Perth concerts later on, the band has also disclosed. The price per ticket will just be $40 AUD.
Coldplay stated in light of the concert, “It’s a huge deal for us, and we’re massively looking forward to coming back to Western Australia. It’s been way too long.”
Amy Shark and Thelma Plum, two of the most renowned singer-songwriters, will be supporting Coldplay.
Roger Cook, WA Deputy Premier, mentioned, “The response to Coldplay’s visit to Perth as part of their Asian tour has been incredible. It’s excellent news that there will now be two performances since it means even more people in WA will be able to enjoy Coldplay’s incredible live act.”
The Music Of The Spheres tour is one of the most easily accessible, starting on March 18, 2022, in San José, Costa Rica, and since then has worked its way around the globe.
