INDIA: Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is set to release in India this Friday. Ahead of the theatrical release of the film, Nolan shared a special message for his fans in India, released on Warner Bros India’s YouTube channel. Nolan began his message by saying, “Hello, I am Christopher Nolan, the director of ‘Tenet’. I just want to say hello to all you movie fans in India. I am absolutely thrilled that you are going to get the opportunity to experience ‘Tenet’ on big screen.”

Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh. The plot follows a secret agent who tries to manipulate the flow of time in order to prevent World War III. The film has been shot in Denmark, Estonia, India, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom, and United States.
“We shot the film on large format IMAX film in some of the most spectacular places in the world, including Mumbai, where we were able to shoot what I consider some of the most exciting scenes in the film, some of which with the great Dimple Kapadia. We had an amazing time, shooting in India, and it means so much to that you are all finally going to see ‘Tenet’ on the big screen. So I hope you enjoy it,” Nolan added.
Nolan’s much awaited sci-fi thriller’s release was delayed thrice by the COVID-19 pandemic. But, it has already made it to the theatres in the US and UK and now it will finally hit cinemas in India on December 4.
