The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Saturday retrieved 52 bodies from sites of landslides, rescued 1,800 stranded people, and evacuated 87 others to safer places in Maharashtra which have witnessed floods due to heavy rains.

Indian Navy participated in a two-day bilateral Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Royal Navy Carrier Strike Group (CSG)-21 led by HMS Queen Elizabeth in the Bay of Bengal from July 21 to July 22.
