SOUTH KOREA: Since the ‘Dynamite’ singers started creating history and influencing global pop cultural shifts, the number of BTS supporters, often known as the BTS army, has increased. BTS has established itself as “21st century pop icons” and has broken numerous global records while garnering praise for their genuine and self-produced songs, excellent performances, and their fan interaction.
J-Hope from BTS will reportedly enlist on April 18 at the Army Division A Recruit Training Center in Gangwon-do, according to South Korean media reports. J-Hope is scheduled to be sent to his unit at the end of the following month after finishing his five weeks of basic military training here.
BIGHIT MUSIC said, “The boot camp entrance ceremony is a place where a large number of soldiers and their families are together. To prevent safety accidents due to congestion at the site, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site.”
As per the reports BTS members have been delayed until the age of 30 as ‘excellent performers in the field of popular culture and the arts’ under the current ‘Military Service Act’.
But J-Hope said last month that he had finished the process for cancelling or delaying his enlistment and was moving forward with his plans to complete his military service requirements. J-Hope came in first with 744,217 votes in the ‘Fan N Star’ Weekly Music voting for the first week of April, which ran from the 3rd to the 10th.
After that, BTS’s Jimin came in second with 253,938 votes, while Kim Soo-chan came in third with 219,038. The fans who took part in the poll offered congratulations to the official ‘Fan N Star’ text messaging box along with the news of J-Hope’s victory.
On April 10, the agency said, “SUGA posted the track list of the solo album ‘D-DAY’ to be released as Agust D on BTS’ official social media handles.” The b-side songs are listed in order against the graphic background.”
According to the released track list, ‘D-DAY’ includes ‘HUH?! (feat. J-hope)’, ‘AMYGDALA’, ‘SDL’, ‘Polar Night’, ‘Interlude: Dawn’, ‘Snooze (feat. Ryuichi Sakamoto and Kim Woo Sung of The Rose’), and BTS’ ‘Life Goes On’ reinterpreted with the sensibility of Agust D.
The agency claims that the title tune, “Haegeum,” employs the sound of the traditional instrument Haegeum, which is mentioned in both the title and the lyrics. The title track, “Daechwita,” from the second mixtape, “D-2,” published under the name Agust D, also features Haegeum sound.
