SOUTH KOREA: The world is currently obsessed with the Korean boy band BTS, and the group has a diverse fan base worldwide. However, BTS recently announced a band break to concentrate on their respective careers.
Many team members have already made their solo debuts, and now Jimin is heading in the same direction. BigHit Entertainment has officially declared that Jimin will release his first solo album, ‘Face’. The official release date will be March 24 at 8:30 p.m. IST.
The notice is shared on the fan community site Weverse, where the release details and pre-order schedule will be shared. As per the reports, pre-orders would be available at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The official circulation says, “Hello, This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS member Jimin will be releasing his first solo album, ‘Face’.”
“‘Face’ is about Jimin facing himself head-on as he prepares for his next step as a solo artist. Jimin will see the fans through various activities, including the ‘Face’ release, so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin’s first official solo activity.”
Jinim’s fandom made him a popular star overnight. Recently, he was chosen as the brand ambassador of the luxury brand Dior. He also became the lead character of the brand’s event at the 2023 Paris Fashion Week.
The highly-demanded artist debuted with the South Korean septet BTS on June 12, 2013. For Jinim, there has been no turning back since. He had already released blockbuster hits like ‘Promise,’ which was a huge success on the music platform SoundCloud.
