SOUTH KOREA: Excitement is building in the world of K-pop as BLACKPINK’s beloved member, Jennie, gears up to unveil a special version of her unreleased song, “You & Me.”
After a hiatus since her 2018 solo album “SOLO,” fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from this superstar, and their patience is about to be richly rewarded.
Jennie initially surprised fans during BLACKPINK’s electrifying BORN PINK world tour by showcasing the unreleased version of “You & Me.” Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is almost here.
On October 4, YG Entertainment, via the official BLACKPINK handle, unveiled a captivating poster and release date for “You & Me.”
This upcoming release marks the third version of the song, following the BORN PINK and Coachella renditions. Fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the special single is set to drop on October 6, 2023, at 1 PM Korean Standard Time (9:30 AM Indian Standard Time), and for international fans, it’ll be available at 12 AM Eastern Daylight Time.

Adding to the anticipation, it was revealed on August 9 that Jennie’s “You & Me” has been registered by the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP).
This development highlights the global appeal of her music and her growing presence on the international stage.
Fans of Jennie will recall her unforgettable performance of “You & Me (Coachella Remix)” during Coachella Valley Music and Arts. The inclusion of an additional rap verse in this remix elevated the song to new heights, and now, this version is listed on ASCAP as well.
