Black Clover Movie: Asta Gears up For Face-off with Wizard King in New Visual

JAPAN: My magic is never giving up! Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is gearing up for its debut on June 16. As the release date is approaching, the excitement keeps getting levelled up, and to make things fueled with a blast of anticipation, makers are dropping new elements related to the upcoming anime movie every week.

Black Clover movie bags new key visual

Now, another new update has arrived, catapulting our excitement. The official Twitter handle of Black Clover shared a new key visual for the Sword of the Wizard King.

Netflix Anime shared the key visual in English. Describing the poster, the streaming giant wrote, “Check out this new piece of key art for Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King illustrated by character designer Itsuko Takeda! The film hits Netflix on June 16!” 

The poster offers a stellar work of colour with the magical illustration skill of Itsuko Takeda (the one who created the brilliant artwork of Black Clover anime). The key visual showcases Asta and former Wizard King Conrad Leto engaging in intense combat of magic vs strength.

The illustration shows Leto using magic, and on the other hand, the Black Bull member is seen wielding his anti-magic sword in his new form. The face-off between the two characters acts as the tip of the iceberg awaiting exploration by keen anime viewers. 

For the unknown, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King will focus on the resurrection of former Wizard King Conrad Leto. Coming back to life, he plans to use the Imperial Sword to resurrect the other three Wizard Kings, who have been labelled as the most dangerous emperors in the history of the Black Clover universe.

Summing up all the nefarious notions, Leto pits a plan to take over the Clover Kingdom. This puts Asta and the Magic Knights on a mission to stop the resurrected Wizard King.

Talking about the release of the Sword of the Wizard King, the anime feature is preparing for a theatre debut in Japan on June 16, aiming to provide a big-screen experience to fans. Besides its hometown, the movie will arrive on Netflix for a global audience.
