UNITED STATES: The DC Universe Carnival opening featured the first look of Black Adam where DC anti-hero can be seen in action. Black Adam is enhanced by using his lighting power as a predator of humanity rather than a protector.
Black Adam’s initial appearance
Dwayne Johnson’s character as Black Adam hinted several times on social media networks at the secret of his Adam’s costume. Yet, his fans have not had access to the full disclosure until now. The costume is also partially visible at first glance, with the hood covering half. The suit was shown in a behind-the-scenes video a few days ago, but it was before the CGI installation.
It’s fantastic that the creators inflate Black Adam fans’ expectations of what the character would look like. The concept image and concept teaser from a few years ago presented a brief rendering of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. From the looks of it, it appears that Dwayne Johnson was destined to play the role, as the comic book’s precision is so perfect it would be difficult to imagine anyone other than the actor.
The idea for a full-fledged Black Adam movie has been around since 2007, also with Dwayne Johnson at the helm. Johnson was not as well known at the time as he is now. As a result, the studio confirmed his imminent arrival in 2018. Filming began in earnest in 2021. It can be said that Dwayne Johnson has come a long way on his Black Adam journey.
The first look begins with a view of Black Adam’s grave, which is being opened by some unknown explorers, who may be making their end-of-life mistake. The Mighty Adam is being awakened. What you will experience next is a true fan moment.

The next moment, Adam goes crazy with the explorers and we witness the full display of his powerful brutality as a character. He keeps hitting the intruder with his iconic lighting until the skeleton pops out of him. Then, there is the capture of the sequence of bullets that only announces that the misery of the explorers will come to no end as they will keep fighting the former king of Kahndaq.
The movie is set to be released on 29 July 2022 with a talented cast that includes Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi as Isis, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
As the Rock is involved, we can expect a lot of action and plenty of humor. It is clear by now that Black Adam will not be a true villain story as the character will be represented as an antihero. The movie till the end probably refers to the Black Adam Vs the Shazam scenario, which will be an epic experience to witness in live-action.
