INDIA: Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian Cricket team, Virat Kohli, turned 34 today. A sports enthusiast, who continued to rule millions of hearts, he gave his loyalty to his lady love Anushka Sharma.
Virat Kohli is also known as the Indian run machine because of his powerful battings on the field. Virat is also active when it comes to TV commercials and is counted among the most prominent handsome, intellectual and good-looking cricketers around the world.
Anushka Sharma penned a delightful message for Virat Kohli
Anushka, on her husband Virat Kohli’s Birthday wished him by sharing some amazing photos of him and wrote, ”It’s your Birthday, my love, so obviously, I chose your best angles and photos for this post. Love you in every state and form and way @virat.kohli.”
Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress, dated and married Virat Kohli. The two initially met on the set of a TV commercial for a shampoo brand that featured them both. The couple did not fall in love at first sight, but they stayed in touch after the session.
The love affair remained hidden till Virat went to Sharma’s house in Mumbai immediately after the Indian team returned from the South Africa tour in 2014. Furthermore, Anushka has always been an actor who has been loyal to her talks, as she stated in an interview that “they are not hiding anything and that they are simply two normal people in a relationship.”
Both professional people kept their relationship away from the limelight and never spoke much about it. The duo made their first public appearance together in November 2014, cheering at an Indian Super League football game in Pune.
Both bumped into each other’s workspace very often and used to spend quality time together after fulfilling their professional commitments. Virat was very expressive about his relationship, and his epic ‘flying kiss’ for Anushka from the cricket ground vent went viral.
The couple surprised everyone by tying the knot in 2017 in an exotic fairytale wedding in Tuscany. The couple took to their social media handles and broke the news of their marriage with some adorable photos from their big day.
Anushka was seen wearing a pale pink embellished Sabyasachi lehenga, whereas Virat opted for a similar coloured sherwani. The couple later hosted grand wedding receptions in Mumbai and Delhi. Many big politicians and businessmen, along with actors, have made their presence at their reception.
Last year in 2021, the couple embraced parenthood and their little bundle of joy, baby girl Vamika came into the world. Virat reportedly was on paternity leave during their child’s birth.
The couple has never officially shown their child’s face and kept her from the limelight. But, during an ongoing match, Vamik’s face was revealed, and the public went crazy over the cuteness of their daughter.
